We’ve always valued environmental considerations, which is one of the reasons why we develop products that last for years and years.
Now we’ve taken this approach one step further and started producing bags from material recycled by an Israel company, “Remeant,” which invented a method for turning plastic waste into a marvelous textile.
Our upcycled bags are made of bubble wrap, and designed in a manner that lets you change the color of the straps. The front compartment can also be used as a crossbody or waist pouch.
The bags are manufactured in Israel as part of a boutique collection.
Did you know that the gitta brand is vegan? We protect the environment. We love animals and live with a lovely cat who tolerates us. We make sure to use plant-based fabrics from natural sources that do no ecological damage.
What’s more, some of our products are packaged by Reut, an NPO that helps the mentally ill integrate in the job market. Our credo has always guided us to use the finest quality and most durable materials so that gitta products may be handed down from one child to the next, and to friends as well…
